Action Alert: Stop criminalisation of sex work in Northern Ireland

The bill that could impose the Nordic model on sex workers working in Northern Ireland is going to be voted on sometime in the next 48 hours. LIST OF MLAS here – PLEASE GET TWEETING/EMAILING.

Please email and tweet Sinn Fein & Alliance members in particular asking them NOT to back the bill (tweet suggestions below). Also worthwhile tweeting the UUP, and the Greens (just to say thanks, as their MLA has already said he opposes the clause). Together, some combination of SF, Alliance & the Greens could put in a petition of concern and stop the legislation – if it needs to come to that so be it.

This will take a few minutes of your time but sex workers livelihoods and safety literally hangs on this – please do it if you can.
