The All-Party Parliamentary Group (APPG) on Prostitution and the Global Sex Trade was formed in early 2019, and the ECP immediately condemned it for being inherently biased. It presents itself as an independent committee but exists to promote ideology and push policy changes to increase criminalisation. The group have produced two inquiries, which have predictably promoted the criminalisation of clients.
